Message Longtime tt.NET member John Garrison (ZonaZ) passed away earlier this week. John was a member here since 1998 and was also the entrepreneur behind Maniacal Motorsports.

From his son Connor's FB post:
"Our hearts are heavy. The days ahead appear bleak. On the morning of December 31, 2019, John unexpectedly passed away in his sleep. Our shining light, our fearless leader, John Garrison, has left us for the great racetrack in the sky. He had so many dreams, and was able to achieve many of them. He is survived by his wife Sandra, son Connor, and daughter Jill. After enjoying years of cycling in his twenties, John found the amazing Nissan 300ZX and enjoyed driving, racing, and working on the Z’s. No matter if he was on the racetrack or a bicycle, he always liked to go fast. While taking a break from the cars, he went back to cycling. Connor was his favorite riding partner in this past year and together they rode over 7,500 miles, even riding a 102 mile ride in November, and he would sometimes ride up to 300 miles in a week. He participated in several cycling events throughout the state of Arizona over the last year all the way from Willcox, AZ to Pinetop, AZ, enjoying the breathtaking beauty that Arizona has to offer all over and was looking forward to returning."

RIP John.
